ANIMATION FOR HEALTH & THE PUBLIC SECTOR
We work across the public sector – with Welsh Government, the NHS, Public Health Wales, Transport for Wales and more – visualising policy, public health messages and services through engaging animation.
Most recently we helped Medr raise awareness of their apprenticeship programme consultation with a short, snappy and accessible bilingual animation.
Whether you're explaining policy to the public, raising awareness of services, or encouraging people to get their smear test – animation is a powerful and accessible tool that turns complex messages into stories people remember.
Our work supports inclusion with accessible colour palettes, diversity in design, captioning and producing multiple language versions.
If this is your first time using animation, don't worry: we'll guide you through every step of the process, from the first Teams call (or in-person coffee!) to the finished product.
Welsh Government | Siarter Iaith animation + comic
We collaborated with On Par to produce a suite of engaging visuals promoting the Siarter Iaith (Welsh Language Charter) to a broad audience – from an animated video to a comic book, and appealing character illustrations for use across digital and print resources.
Hapus (Public Health Wales) | Well / Being film
We collaborated with poet Mab Jones to create this animated film-poem on the theme of happiness and wellbeing, made up of contributions from 500 people across Wales, for Hapus. The film was shown at a celebratory launch event and across web and social media.
Public Health Wales | #LoveYourCervix campaign video
Public Health Wales commissioned this bilingual animation as part of their #LoveYourCervix campaign, aiming to encourage uptake of smear tests in women aged 25–30, and to increase awareness of HPV. We created a single bilingual animation for use across social media.
NHS Hackney | Neighbourhoods communication video
We teamed up with Yarrow Films to produce a short video combining animation and live action footage to explain changes in the way NHS Hackney teams are working. We used a warm, approachable visual style to humanise the subject matter.
Public Health Wales | Socio-Economic Duty explainer
We provided full-service animation for this video commissioned by Public Health Wales to explain the Socio-Economic Duty in Wales. Working collaboratively from briefing to delivery, we used clear and characterful storytelling to simplify policy concepts and bring lived-experience insights to life.
