ANIMATION FOR EDUCATION
Making learning engaging, accessible and fun
Animation is a brilliant tool for bringing ideas to life, making complex subjects accessible, and inspiring curiosity and creativity.
We create engaging, imaginative animated content for learners of all ages, from animated preschool songs for S4C to educational video resources for BBC Bitesize aimed at 8–11-year-olds, combining animation with live action.
Whether we're explaining a tricky concept, telling a story or making learning fun, we work closely with our clients to create animation that's clear, memorable and tailored to its audience.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lauren and the team at Picl. We had a tight schedule and a modest budget, but Picl delivered a gold-standard service, going above and beyond to deliver a fantastic set of animations for broadcast on S4C. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we are delighted with the product which far exceeded our expectations. We hope to work again soon with Picl and would recommend them to anyone.

BBC Bitesize – Welsh for Learners
We teamed up with Atebol and Josh Morgan (Sketchy Welsh) to create a collection of 15 x 2–3min animated videos for pupils aged 8-11 who are learning Welsh.
Cynyrchiadau Twt Productions x S4C | Caru Canu (52x3') + Caru Canu a Stori (52x10')
We provided animation services for Caru Canu (52x3') and Caru Canu a Stori (52x10'), two Welsh-language series for S4C helping young audiences to learn Cymraeg and connect with their heritage by learning traditional nursery rhymes and bringing them to life with new stories.
Boom Cymru x S4C | WAW
We collaborated with Boom to create these Welsh language animated inserts for WAW, a new educational series for 5–7 year olds on S4C. We created animation for two episodes – Trwynau (Noses) and Trydan (Electricity) – with two separate colourful age-appropriate styles for 5–7 year olds.
